Sir Basil's Boneyard was born from a simple idea: good food brings people home. After years away from the kitchen, Basil Avery rediscovered his passion during a season of serving at local church events. What began as a few meals shared with friends quickly grew into a vision, a passion built on authenticity, generosity, and flavor that feels like family.
From humble beginnings to the launch of mobile delivery, Sir Basil Boneyard is more than a business. It’s a return to passion. A celebration of community. And a commitment to serving authentic, down-home meals to the neighborhoods that need them most.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide the best BBQ in Nashville, while providing a place of restoration for all people by serving real, handcrafted BBQ made with patience, purpose, and love. We believe food should be accessible, memorable, and made with ingredients that matter. Every rib, brisket, and side is slow-smoked and prepared with intention, because quality and hospitality will always come first.
